Q&A

Can you give me an overview of (WCHS)?

High school is a time of self-discovery and preparation. At Westside, students prepare for college and beyond with a combination of rigorous academics and important world experiences. Students begin college counseling in the 9th grade. They are supported and encouraged as they find their path and achieve their goals through a variety of activities, adaptive learning opportunities, and intentional college preparation.
Colleges want to attract students who stand out. They want to see motivation, tenacity, passion, intelligence, and generosity. Westside's curriculum builds experiences: academic, faith, mission, and life. Students participate in STEAM courses and activities, rigorous AP classes, leadership training through intentional discipleship, and by connecting and serving in the community.

What are the academic offerings at WCHS?

  • Colleges are looking for a variety of academic courses that demonstrate a margin of difficulty. WCHS offers 17 AP courses and boasts a state-leading AP exam pass rate.
  • Students are able to experience project-based learning through the Eagle Engineering Program.
  • WCHS supports student creativity and development through its wide range of visual and performance art programs.

What is student life like at WCHS?

Hear from the Heart of Westside, the students. Student-athletes, leaders, artists, musicians and chaplains will share their experience at Westside Christian High School. A diverse student population will be represented and this will be a great time for your future Eagle to ask questions of their future peers.

How can a parent get involved at WCHS?

Hear from the Westside Christian High School Parent community. There will be a diverse group of parents whose students joined Westside from public school, home school, and private school communities. They will share their reasons for choosing Westside and how their family has engaged in community at WCHS. This event will be a great opportunity to ask parents about Westside’s community, academics, and spiritual life.

"Choosing Westside was one of the best decisions we’ve made as a family. It’s more than just a school—it’s a community that truly cares about each student’s growth in mind, body, and spirit.
Grateful!"
~ Westside Parent

“I’ve met amazing friends, gone to school activities, and participated in sports, and all of those things are very important to me when it comes to connecting with my community and school, as well as having a well-shaped character.  But most of all, I love knowing that I’m surrounded by a bunch of fantastic people who are like me, a Christian.”
